Full Exterior Detail

A garage-kept grand tourer needed to be concours-ready in five days: light swirls, bonded contaminants and a dusty engine bay standing between it and the show field.

The challenge

Bonded rail dust and sap across horizontal panels, light swirling from years of hand washing, and an engine bay untouched for a decade — with judging in five days.

Work performed

  • Foam bath, two-bucket wash, iron, tar and clay decontamination.
  • One-step machine polish to lift swirls and restore depth.
  • Carnauba wax sealant, wheels sealed, glass polished inside and out.
  • Careful engine bay detail with steam and dressing, plus jambs and trim.

The result

Show-ready finish that took best in class at the owner's club concours — then drove 200 miles home through rain and still beaded.

  • Zero bonded contaminants remaining on the bag test.
  • Engine bay judged 'detailed, not dressed' — exactly what judges want.
  • Owner now on our Signature Care schedule twice a year.
